Sustainable Agriculture

Sustainable agriculture is the ability of farmers to produce food so the environment and surrounding ecosystem, not affected by agricultural activities. There are some issues with this form of agriculture that the problem biophysical and socio-economic issue. Biophysical are related to biological activities such as crop rotation, use of artificial fertilizers and nutrients and the availability of other resources such as water, wind and sunlight while socio-economic concerns employment of farmers, production costs and total yield.Talking physical characteristics of sustainability is not well understood. Most farming practices show that the end result of these practices led to soil erosion, salinization and waterlogging. Most tropical forests and fields have lost their fertility due to over-farming and conventional farming techniques. This conventional farming techniques are replaced by sustainable agriculture techniques. These techniques include the use of modern fertilizers, crop genetic engineering, artificial nutrition and use of renewable energy. There many techniques for sustainable extraction of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium that are essential for growth plant. For nitrogen, using nitrogen-fixing bacteria and the Haber process for extracting nitrogen from the air industry. As this is phosphorus and potassium, the appropriate amount of them can be mixed with nitrogen to produce high yields fertilizers. In most areas, rainfall is sufficient for the needs of water transportation services, but in areas of others, irrigation is necessary. Irrigation systems should be well used to the best use of available water. Distribution channels are appropriate and correct. Moreover, water logging and excessive use of chemicals should be avoided because they lead to salinization. Some technologies, such as well drilling and water significantly increased the proliferation and availability of resources water.Natural scarce these days and poor agricultural practices mean extinction. Moreover, these habits also contribute to hand contamination and damage to the ecosystem. The cultures at the time of distribution should be treated in the sustainability equation. This means that all costs of production and distribution facilities should be considered before a final cost-benefit analysis. There is a big debate among various businesses, farmers and scientists to create sustainable agriculture. One of the few practices can grow many crops in a field. This will reduce the loss of nutrients and eliminate the risk of soil erosion. Moreover, climatic conditions and water resources are the most used. Monoculture is a different method that relates to sustainable agriculture. This process consists of a single crop in a field, but it is strongly recommended as it will result in loss of soil fertility, grazing overtime.Over is also a factor contributing to soil erosion. This impact factor can be significantly reduced by the introduction of a sustainable management approach known as grazing pasture divided into paddocks that are easy to administer and has less space. The sustainable agriculture and food affects the overall performance should improve due to the growing world population growing, but these techniques sometimes a negative impact on the environment eg use of fertilizers to use for burning and eutrophication of forests to clear land for cultivation can result in carbon dioxide emissions . Some exponents, sustainable agriculture agreed on the use of organic farming. Although this technique is relatively low, but can be used as an alternative in drought areas fronts. It is an expensive method, but if people are educated on the use of this technique, there is real potential that the large scale and new techniques are introduced into the production future.Another recent ideas that have led the market increase will be used to sustainability requires the creation of vertical farms that the cause of crop pests, year-round production and production site. Once again, cost is the main concern that this prohibition technique. We sustainable agriculture that can easily distract from the fact that sustainable agriculture is necessary for the modern world, but considerations should be made as the application of these techniques is completely viable and requires some thought. Although, really useful this technique is still a dream for children of the countries
