Warts? Try Duct Tape

Published on Thursday, December 17, 2009 by

A study by Cincinnati Children's Hospital shows that common duct tape is significantly more effective in curing common warts than the standard treatment of liquid nitrogen. Most dermatologists treat warts by applying liquid nitrogen for warts white and then a blister forms increased painful wart on the top of the blister. In this study, the authors treated half of warts on his patients by applying liquid nitrogen to warts every 10 seconds every 2-3 weeks to a maximum of 6 treatment. The other half were treated by applying tape directly to the wart for up to two months. The cure rate of the tape was 85 percent while the cure rate was 60 per cent of liquid nitrogen. The tape, or any other tape, the wart to grow maceratese blood vessels, causing the body's immune system to eliminate the wart. Children with multiple warts have a cure rate much lower with liquid nitrogen. When a person has more than four warts, any destructive procedure to get rid of warts usually fails. Once your skin is damaged by cutting, scraping, freezing or burning the wart virus usually grows back within the tissue healing and wart returns.A report in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment describes how the application of a cream with a chemical that helps with allergies to get rid of warts. Diphencyprone (DPC) works as Poison Ivy in the skin. This causes redness, itching and blisters. The application of a cream with DPC to name just a few warts caused a reaction in which all the warts turned red, even those who lack the DPC and warts Aldara Cream disappeared.Another treatment, a chemical that stimulates the immune system and eliminate the warts virus. Three times a week can put Aldara cream on the wart and a lot of holes through the cream on the wart. Often, three or more weeks of this treatment, the red and the warts disappear.
