What does cause Acid Rain to occur?

Acid rain deposits, in the broadest terms, is the acid resulting from sulfur and nitrogen oxides mix with raindrops or snow, and then fall to the ground. Wind is also a carrier of acid in the air, in dry form. Acid rain is dangerous because the water supply, environment, influences the fauna and flora. The problem lies in our own home and found worldwide. Acid rain is caused by pollution. Pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide stays in the atmosphere and eventually react with moisture in the air. When the contaminated water falls to the ground, it is called acid rain. The combustion of fossil fuels makes these pollutants. The primary contributors are cars and factories. By large polluting factories released as exhaust is very damaging to the environment on a daily basis. Add the acid rain to the mix, and you can imagine what all the fuss. Sulfur dioxide is in contrast to other types of acid pollution, and does not react with water until it is transported over long distances by wind. Dry sulfur dioxide effects can still have an impact on the environment. The wind simply by changing the location of where it's falling. Because we know the cause of acid rain, have the obligation to eliminate it. The cost of doing this is that you can imagine. So, are controlled by each doing their part. By using less fossil fuel we can change. We can explore alternative energies such as solar energy. We can all reduce the amount of pollution our vehicles driving through the sharing of the car only when necessary and when possible. Keep your vehicle in good condition and follow all regulations on emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency has worked with plants from around the world to educate them on how to encourage the exhaust emissions into the atmosphere to decrease. Acid rain affects us all, so we all have an interest in doing what we can to reduce its effects.
